MISSION
Founded and directed by Nicole Livieratos, Gardenhouse Dance is built on the premise that art is important and at its best, essential and transformative. The mission of GH is to contribute to this vision in three ways:
Creation of new artistic work ; consistent creation, production, and promotion of new artistic work by Nicole Livieratos including dance, dance/theater, performance art, and video.
Education ; outreach work in public schools ages K-12 using movement to teach curriculum and presentations of works in progress, rehearsal viewings, discussions and audience feedback sessions.
Advocacy ; advocating for a viable artistic environment both inside and outside the company's regional boundaries.
